Position and responsibilities At AAA Law I represent clients with intellectual property registration issues at the Lithuanian State Patent Office, the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), the EU’s Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) and in the courts. I have the status of European trademark, patent and design patent attorney.
Used languages At work I use Lithuanian, English and Russian languages.
Education I achieved a Master of Science in Chemistry and Applied Science at Vilnius Pedagogical University and then at Mykolas Romeris University I attained a Master of Laws. I joined the AAA Law team in 1994. Since then I have specialised in the field of intellectual property.
Additional information In 2002 I received a Republic of Lithuania patent attorney licence. In 2007 I took part in training sessions on aspects of implementation of EPC 2000 (European Patent Convention 2000) organised by the European Patent Service and the European Patent Academy and I have been appointed national curator of this programme. In June 2009 I received a certificate from the European Patent Academy as evidence that I had completed the three-part training programme and had become an official representative of the European Patent Office in Lithuania. This certificate authorises me to conduct specialised seminars for specialists in the protection of inventions, patent attorneys, inventors and defenders of inventors’ rights.I take part in the activities of intellectual property organisations as a member of the Lithuanian Patent Association, the Lithuanian chapter of the Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the Professional Representatives Institute of the European Patent Office (EPI).
