Managing partner, patent attorney
Position and responsibilities I am a specialist in the registration and defence of intellectual property and a patent attorney for European trademarks, patents and designs. I represent clients in disputes over trademarks and patents at the Lithuanian State Patent Office, the European Patent Office and in other institutions such as the EU’s Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM), the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and in the courts.
Used languages At work I use Lithuanian, English and Russian languages.
Education I completed studies at Kaunas Technological University, where I obtained a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently, I obtained a professional diploma from the Moscow Patent Institute. I was granted a Patent Attorney Licence in 1993 and in the same year I started my career at the firm AAA Law, which I currently have the honour of managing.
Additional information I am the Chair of the Lithuanian Patent Attorneys’ Association and an active member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). I work on the Patent Teaching Committee of the European Patent Office (EPI). In addition, I am also leader of Tauragės kraštiečių draugija – an association for people originating from Tauragė region of Lithuania.
