Intellectual property law

People recognise intellectual property the same as they recognise real estate property. People understand what property is. However, here we are dealing with a new form of property which can only be understood with new types of administration and new definitions of property itself. – Michael Nesmith, musician, writer, businessman.

Patents, trademarks and logos for goods and services, commercial secrets, industrial designs, author’s rights and associated rights – these are all matters for consultation with the specialised professionals working at AAA Law in all the fields of intellectual property law.

We register intellectual property objects. We prepare contracts and other necessary documents for licensing, the transfer of rights and the transfer of intellectual property or author‘s property rights, etc.

In the course of ensuring and defending the clients’ intellectual property rights, we represent clients in the National Patents Office, in the European Union’s Office of Harmonisation for the Internal Market (OHIM), in Lithuanian institutions and in courts at all levels. We consult on questions of damage caused by the violation of intellectual property and compensation for it.

We specialise in the following fields:

  • patents on inventions;
  • trademarks;
  • industrial design;
  • domains;
  • author’s rights;
  • care of intellectual property;
  • valuation and audit of intellectual property portfolio;
  • defence of breached rights (OHIM, EPO).
