Advocate and partner Giedrė Domkutė specializes in intellectual, labour, business, contract law, has a lot of experience in the preparation of various agreements (licences, franchise, confidentiality, non-competition, estate and real-estate law, share sale and purchase, rent, contract, loans, combined activities, shareholder agreements and so on), provides legal opinions about content of the contracts, performs due diligence, prepares claims, and other legal documents. She represents clients in all instance courts, public authorities’ institutions and in negotiations with third parties.

Other activities

As an advocate Giedrė Domkutė has been working since 2004. In 2006 she established a joint law firm AAA Baltic Service Company with advocate Daiva Ušinskaitė-Filonovienė.

Advocate is one of the first Lithuanian lawyers who have initiated a successful co-operation of trademark owners with the Lithuanian Customs by stopping delivery of falsified goods into the territory of Lithuania.

Giedrė Domkutė presents lectures on topical legal issues in the international conferences, prepares and conducts seminars on the Trademark as a value, Protection of commercial secrets, Franchising agreement topics.

Education

Giedrė Domkutė has gained Master’s of law degree at the Vilnius University.

Membership

Currently advocate Giedrė Domkutė is a member of Lithuanian Bar and the International Bar Association (IBA).   She is the co-author of international publications International Intellectual Property Law, International Trademark Law, Doing Business in 2007, Doing Business in 2006, also the co-author of Lithuanian Business news manual Consultations to a manager, she prepares and publishes articles on actual legal topics in Lithuanian and foreign magazines.
